As a physician scientist I am working since many years in neuroscience and nephrology. In this context I am dealing mainly with electron microscopy and as university lecturer with Anatomy - both occupations mainly dominated by visual perception. However, science is based on facts and rational thinking and results are presented in a written manner or as oral presentations.

During the Corona lockdown I discovered my fascination for painting. What a completely different way to express oneself. I was very surprised that my friends and relatives enjoyed some of my paintings and even asked if they can buy one. Thus I decided to design this page in order to make the results of my amateurish efforts accessible to a broad public.
